To my dearest ones.

May our lives always be guided by simplicity and our memories preserved with love.

The project began when my father’s illness brought my family back together, reopening memories of childhood and loss. Archive photos altered with painterly gestures intertwine with portraits, landscapes and still lifes that speak of decline and resilience. Within these images, presences shift and dissolve, while my self-portraits echo that instability, tracing the fragile balance between memory, absence, and the will to endure.

Photos: 4x5 film sheets, collage, chemical interventions on archival pictures

Video: 16mm and 8mm films, vhs-c, iPhone, archival pictures and footages
